Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed regarding the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The support place made for intervention activities a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the sassa status servicing of all customers and boost entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
